HAMPTON, Ga. – Kyle Busch used to kick the can when he was a kid. Friday, he kicked off a promotion that he hopes will raise a significant amount of money to help disadvantaged kids.
NOS Energy Drink stepped up to the plate to announce it will help sponsor Busch's full-time effort in the Nationwide Series with a 14-race sponsorship which will go a long way towards helping the team make all 35 Nationwide races this year.
Busch has his sights set on winning both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup championships this season.
The highlight of the event was the introduction of a special NOS can that is emblazoned with Busch's photo and logo, honoring the Las Vegas native for his 21 total wins last season across all three of NASCAR's major professional series.
A total of 45,000 cans will be produced. Unfortunately, most of those will be available for sale only in the Southeast par of the country. Priced at $2.59 a can retail, Busch hopes to raise about $25,000 for his foundation, which specializes in helping needy children with things like clothes, school supplies and the like.
Now, who says Kyle is all that bad of a guy?
I like Kyle best when he lets his actions speak, and keeps his mouth shut.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteBusch makes me gag, so I couldn't possibly drink anything out of a can with his face on it.
